Karnataka Parliament - This place is huge. Its like a mile long. And they are building another new one right next to it. I caused quite a bit of stir when I was taking this picture. A man selling postcards came up to me. A crowd started to form while I looked at the postcards. I didn't really look like a foreigner - they were just curious I suppose.

hi cecilia! Bumped into your blog. Try reading this book 'White Mughals' by William Dalrymple. You will find it very interesting. It is about a British military officer who is sent to subjugate India in the 19th century, but falls in love with a princess Khair un-Nissa and indianises himself. A great piece of work. You might get the book in Gangaram's in MG road or any other leading bookstore.
