Can someone from home please send me some Crystal Lite or Diet anything because there is no such thing as Sugar Free here!!!! When I ask for diet they think I am a diet freak. But I am not...I just can't handle so much sugar intake!! Please please help!!!

I stumbled upon your blog when searching for bangalore folks who blog. It looks like you're having trouble with the indian way of things :-)
Here's my $0.02
Sugar substitutes are fairly common, though you'll find them in the better shops/drugstores as they're considered upmarket! Try a decent-sized supermarket near your residence or a shop in MG Road/Brigade Road. You also get them in coffee shops like Barista, Coffee Day, or Quickies.

i know ur new here, but dont give up so easily! u do get sugar free/ low cal sugar substitutes in bangalore, just go to a food world and ask for it....btw food world's a super market.... ask for sugar free not diet!people r health conscious here too u know or did u think only westerners were interested in taking care of their bodies? LOL xxx shalini
how amazing that people are still finding this blog even after I've already left bangalore. it's a nice reminder of the time I spent there. great memories it brings... :-)
